Cefixime Trihydrate + Ofloxacin 200 mg tablets belong to a group of medications called cephalosporin antibiotics primarily used for the treatment of several types of bacterial infections of the ears, lungs, skin, prostate and urinary tract. Cefixime Trihydrate + Ofloxacin 200 mg tablets are available in the market at HL Healthcare under the brand name HELCEF-O. Helcef-O also treats typhoid fever and sexually transmitted diseases like gonorrhoea and chlamydia. Harmful bacteria are responsible for producing toxins that can cause diseases like strep throat, Lyme disease, urinary tract infection, cellulitis, bacterial meningitis, bacterial food poisoning, gonorrhoea, and tetanus. Cefixime Trihydrate + Ofloxacin 200 mg tablets do not work against viral infections like flu and colds.

Cefixime Trihydrate + Ofloxacin 200 mg tablets contain Cefixime and Ofloxacin that works by stopping the formation of the outer covering of the bacteria required for their survival. Read the label given along the Helcef-O tablets. Swallow the whole tablet of Helcef-O with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew, or break the Helcef-O tablets to avoid any irritation in the mouth. You shall take Cefixime Trihydrate + Ofloxacin 200 mg tablets with food to avoid an upset stomach.

There are mild to moderate side effects of Cefixime Trihydrate + Ofloxacin 200 mg tablets that get resolved over time.
